How to organise a wine tasting at home: the practical guide
Back to all Introduction Organising
Welcome to the heart of the Colli Piacentini, where sun-kissed land and a mild climate give life to a unique red wine: Gutturnio, the undisputed king of this area.
It is born from a happy marriage between two native grapes: Barbera, which gives it energy and character, and Bonarda, which wraps it in velvety softness. Together they create a wine with an intense ruby-red colour, sometimes with garnet reflections as it ages.

Whether you love full-bodied reds or prefer a fresher, livelier taste, Gutturnio offers a style for every table.
