In the early 1990s, our company was actively looking for new markets and opportunities. During this period, we explored the Far East for the first time, with a particular focus on Vietnam. In a market where fruit-based drinks held strong cultural appeal, we identified a compelling opportunity to bridge the world of wine with the vibrant character of fruit-forward beverages.
From that insight, the concept of Dolce Novella was born: a wine-based drink infused with natural fruit aromas and a balanced alcohol content. The result is a beverage that blends the richness of red fruit notes with a captivating bouquet—crafted to appeal to local palates, while resonating with a global audience.

On 27 May 1995, our Monteverdi family welcomed a new arrival—a sweet baby girl who brought unexpected joy and happiness. We named her Novella, a name that evokes sweetness and freshness, just like our new creation.
To mark the occasion, we created a wine-based drink dedicated to her: a vibrant beverage infused with red berry aromas and a soft, gentle character. Thus, Dolce Novella was born—a drink crafted for those taking their first steps into the world of wine, and for anyone who appreciates delicate, refined flavour.
